We observe and trial slow movements, encounters, and moments learned from each other, from plants, from non-human animals, from objects, the heavens, and the five elements.

We settle and take our seats. Our calm is not numbing or withdrawing. We feel for the poise between movement and stillness. Finding that, the gates of our senses open, and we reach toward and receive a world that is always arriving.

Calm down, don’t shut down.

Our breath is offered to the world. Our skin is not the end of our body. Our hearing goes out to gladly meet sounds. We reach for the sights, the touches, and the tastes. We gather in the city of all being and things with a constant feeling of friendliness and a strategy of improvisation.
